🌺The Royal poinciana, also known as the Delonix regia, is a plant of the Fabaceae family, the subfamily Caesalpinioideae. It blooms in summer, with racemes of large, red, shiny flowers. The Royal poinciana is known as one of the most colorful trees in the world because of its bright red or orange flowers and bright green pinnate leaves.
