☀️Light conditions: Freesia likes full sunlight, so it is best to choose a sunny place, such as the countryside or a rooftop.

🌼Soil requirements: Use sandy loam with strong drainage, loose fertile soil and rich in humus. When potting, you can mix leaf mold soil, garden soil, fine river sand and decomposed organic fertilizer, and use carbendazim for spray disinfection.

💦Watering: There is no need to water too much when the pot is first placed. After the true leaves grow, maintain the principle of seeing dry and then wet. Generally, water once a week, and water thoroughly every time. In February of the following year, watering frequency should be increased.

🌡️Temperature: The optimal temperature for the growth stage of alyssum is between 59-64℉, and the light intensity is suitable for scattered light. Avoid exposure to the sun in summer, and ensure no less than 8 hours of light exposure during the flowering period.

🧴Fertilization: The root system of Freesia is relatively thin and requires a lot of nutrients. After planting, apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizer 2-3 times. During the flowering period, you can mainly use decomposed organic fertilizer, and then spray potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution on the leaves to maintain the leaf color and gloss. Replace the potting soil once a year.
